We use the PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE to talk about daily routines

Affirmative: We add letter -s to the verb in the 3rd person singular ( he/ she/ it).

    She works in the mornings. 

Negative: In the 3rd person singular we use "does not" + infinitive verb (without to)

 to form a negative sentence.

   She does not work in the mornings. 

   She does´nt work in the mornings. 

Interrogative: In the 3rd person singular we use:

"Does"+ subject + infinitive verb (without to) ?

Quentin Blake draws pictures for children´s books. He´s an illustrator. He lived in London for many years. He works in a special studio in his home. He illustrated some of Roald Dahl´s books such as Matilda and The BFG.

Quentin Blake has been awarded the Kate Greenaway Medal, the Hans Christian Andersen Award in the illustration category in 2002, and the Eleanor Farjeon Award in 2012.

Tim Bowler

Tim Bowler has written a lot of books for children and teenagers. He lives in the countryside. He works in a small shed in the garden. When he doesn´t have ideas, he goes to the countryside.
