Fan facts about the mongoose. 

They are snake fighters: Mongooses have a genetic mutation that prevents them from dying after a  cobra snake bite.

They usually live between 6 and 10 years and are  around twenty centimetres long. 

They have got forty teeth and are hard to see in the dark.
