Sharks Vs Whales

Do you know the differences and similarites between whales and sharks?

Both are aquatic animals. They both are vertebrate animals. Both are good swimmers. Both have side fins. Both are carnivores and can be dangerous. Both have a tail that helps them swim. 

Sharks and whales are different in many ways. Whales are the biggest aquatic animal. Whales don´t have teeth, they have hundreds of bristols. However, sharks have very sharp teeth in rows. Whales have a blowhole and lungs for breathing and sharks breath through their gills. They don´t have lungs. Whales don´t have a top fin like sharks do. Whales are viviparous but sharks are oviparous. Whales are mammals and sharks are fish.

Whales and sharks are very interesting animals. Let´s keep them safe!
