Word of the day: Sneakers

Sneakers are*1 sports shoes for running*2, jumping*3, and playing*4 sports.

Many people wear sports shoes all the time because they are comfortable.

*1 Are comes from the verb "to be"

    - I am, you are, he/she/it is, we are, you are, they are

*We always add -ing to the verb when it comes after the preposition "for"*

*2 Running comes from the verb "to run"

*3 Jumping comes from the verb "to jump"

*4 Playing comes from the verb "to play"
