CLOUDS
How do clouds form? (Summary)
1. Warm air from the ground cools down and goes up. As a consequence CONDENSATION occurs (small drops of water are formed)
2. Condensation produces heat, which makes the air warmer so the proplets rise higher. The result is more condensation producing clouds made up of thousands of small proplets.
3.When the droplets are very big they fall inside the cloud, join other drplets and get even bigger. Finally the droplets are so heavy that the fall from the clouds in the form of precipitation (rain, snow or hail).
Clouds are different depending on where condensation takes place (closer to ground level or much higher).
